The Turlock Naval JROTC has developed a very strong program over the last 3 years. Their cadets are taking their training, academics, and service very seriously. They see the importance of teamwork, studying, experiencing a new things. supporting each other and their community.

The academic team competes nationally against other schools earning them several honors. Turlock has a competitive air rifle team. Individually, they’re strong, as a team, even stronger. In December, this team took 1st place. The 4th time they have been undefeated.

The Turlock “Bulldogs” takes several field trips learn new things. They have visited Naval and Marine Corps operations, UC Berkeley, and Sailing Camp. They are involved in numerous community activities, helping where they can. This program volunteers with Salvation Army “bell ringers,” is helpful with veterans and several activities, and their Color Guard is at service for events.

Turlock balances it’s physical training with their academic instructions. They believe in strong values, responsibility, organizational skills, offering a helping hand, being positive and a good citizen.
